Blankets had tears and cigarette burns, non smoking room I pulled out the bedside table to plug in a clock and there was a pile of old cigarette butts. There were nicks and scraps in door, etc. That had been patched over with unlatching paint, mattress was uncomfortable, pillows were poor, etc. Etc....
