Black Olive, Lomita - Restaurant Reviews - TripAdvisor Haven't been here in a while. Heard there was a new owner. The food was very good. A little pricey for the amount served but not too bad. The Black Olive Restaurant - Lomita, CA My wife and i have gone here a few times. the food has been good every time, but for some reason we've had bad luck, they have made our food wrong. I ordered a pizza and it came with no sauce on it, come on really??? did you really serve me a pizza with no sauce? this is an Italian place ,, righ... yelp.com

The bread was great, the dishes were fresh and delicious (although I had salad, I tried my date's gnocci). The soup was very good. The lobster ravioli and linguini in clam sauce were very good. Reasonably priced.
