Mlini Travel Guide

Mlini is a tourist place with a population of 2100 at an elevation of 5 m, located on the Adriatic freeway Southeast of Dubrovnik. The streams in the area used to have a number of mills, which gave the place its name (mlini = mills).

These waters are nowadays used by a small hydroelectric power-plant. There is an auto camp located in the pine woods on the coast. The parish church of St. Clare dates from the year 1449. As the tourism of the area developed, the place grew rapidly.
