North End Travel Guide

The North End is the city’s oldest neighborhood, although not much of the past has been preserved. The Union Oyster House is the main attraction. It dates back to 1826 and serves the best and freshest seafood. The Charlestown Navy Yard is also worth visiting, especially for naval buffs. It is where the oldest U.S. Navy commissioned ship, the USS Constitution is berthed and where it launched in 1797.[1]
