| Merry Christmas to all of you here and I am in South Africa right now enjoying the Mediterranean climate while my friends in VA are no doubt shoveling snow. haha. This might be the perfect time of year to visit South Africa. Merry Christmas and I hope you all have the wisdom to avoid the cold next Christmas season. |

| Easily my favorite place to visit anywhere in the world, I use it as a gateway to visit other places in sub-Saharan Africa. Sometimes it seems that half my money is in US Dollars and the other half is in South African Rand. You can go on hunting here for a couple of thousand dollars and you bring your own firearm though the process is quite complicated, still doable. South Africa is truly a beautiful country. Also the people here generally speak English so communication is not a problem as well once you get a handle of some of the accents (I guess if they talked like Americans... all of them... that would be rather creepy). Visit Kruger National Park for a great safari experience. |
